This is a summary of the qualitative and quantitative methods used in phase two of the Canadian Financial Diaries project. It provides an overview of distinct research processes including: recruitment, participants, retention and attrition, interviews and data collection. The research team for Phase Two consisted of four interviewers who met with diarists and recorded both quantitative and qualitative data: Jerry Buckland; the research coordinator, Wendy Nur; and two research assistants, Carly Kublick and Derek Bassey. James Cheng managed the quantitative data.
