Momentum, a Calgary-based financial empowerment organization has piloted a mini-financial diaries component (called My Money Journal) in one of their matched savings schemes. The results of the pilot are positive. Many participants found it helpful, “[participants] said it made them think about their finances, be aware of what is happening with their money, separate monthly needs from wants and see where their money went each month.”
Momentum plans to make some adjustments the financial diaries component and implement it again. READ THE REPORT HERE.
